For today we had booked another day trip. This time we went to another island, Isla Bastimentos, the second largest island in the archipelago.
Here we did a short nature walk through the jungle, ending up at the so-called Red Frog Beach.

In the afternoon, we cabbed to the domestic airport to catch a $70 flight to Bocas Del Toro. The airport is very small with only two terminals and plastic boarding passes. The best part was the adooorabble drug puppy that a guard was leading around. He had a little vest with an official logo and ev…

I've been to Bocas del Toro twice. The first time was a short (5-day) trip to the Bocas del Toro islands of Panama. I was living in Costa Rica at the time and had to do a 'visa run', so I crossed over into Panama and spent some time in Bocas del Toro. The second time, in 2006, I was staying in Panama City for a month, so I went back to Bocas for a few days. These pictures are a combination of both trips.

About the speed in Costa Rica and Panama: someone told me there that you have slow, than slower, then slowest. After that you get Costa Rica and finally Panama. ;)))
