We spent the last two night at an island of the Pacific coast which is close to David.  To get there you have to take the bus, then a cab for an hour and then it is a boat ride to the island.  THis seems to be the theme for traveling in Panama.  It´s kind of hard to get around but everyone is very friendly here and tries to help us out. I spent October 2006 through February 2007 traveling in Central America. I started in Belize and flew home from Panama. It was a fantastic trip and I look forward to returning to some favorite spots.
