This is the former olympen , and former lompa. This bar changes names every couple of years, but the crowd is the same and its absolutely a nice place to take a beer in the middle of the day. Sadly, since the non smoking act where imposed in 2004 this place has lost a big part of its crowd and atmosphere.

Is there any other club in the world where you can experience that the bartenders say "Do not take a piss in the sink" when you ask where the toilet is , or "You need it more than me" when you are trying to tip.

Its not the same as before , but its still a nice place to be. Mature crowd.

This trip was at the suggestion of Bob & Kate, the Sottish couple and we give them our thanks, though we only just caught it! On driving off the ferry we turn left and almost immediately we are in a 11.4 km tunnel with a brief gap then a 5 km on taking… Grass roofed houses, fjords,snow and legends
