A very good steak house near downtown Washington DC Apr 22, 2010
Just a block away from Willard Hotel, this steak house boasts its gorgeous look with good quality of food. The price of steak is a bit high (40-50$/person0, but the service, interior, and taste is certainly worth it. If you google "steakhouse in DC" this comes out within No.5, and the location is also great, nearby the Department of Treasury.

Lobster is also great, and they do have pretty good wine. Porterhouse steak is second to none, with medium or medium rare, and ambient feature of this restaurant is just enough to enjoy good time with friends with good talks. Group of 4-6 is quite ideal, two is not recommended as this place is quite joyful to be silent or romantic. Surely there are seats outside, so when the weather is good, an ideal place to enjoy good steak and lobster with friends, but not too casual.

No one should eat that much steak! Jun 28, 2010
This place is a vegetarian's nightmare! They serve huge steak and you surely do pay your money for it. I have been on a regular night and for Restaurant Week (where the serving was more appropriate). The steak I had during Restaurant Week was a size that was better for a tummy, but a regular steak looks like it would last you a whole week!

It's a nice dark decor and you shouldn't walk in there in crappy jeans and a shreaded t-shirt.
