Umbrella Village Feb 15, 2012
Bo Sang Umbrella Village is located nine kilometers east of Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai, Sankampaeng Road. Bo Sang Umbrella Village very famous for its traditional Thai umbrellas and other handicrafts. Bo Sang umbrella now known throughout the world as a work of art.

Bo Sang Umbrella Village was originally a small village where generations of villagers engaged in handicraft production and trade of silk and cotton umbrellas and paper parasols for over two centuries. Bo Sang Umbrella Village is very popular among tourists who can immediately see a demonstration of how the umbrellas are made, assembled and painted, and which can also purchase an umbrella for personal use or as souvenirs. So as souvenirs to be brought to Indonesia I do not forget to buy one umbrella and other souvenirs. The price is very affordable .. and do not forget to stop by the Bo Sang when you are on vacation to Chiang Mai...
