Thames View Mar 21, 2017
The Blueprint is an interesting choice. It’s located at the end of Shad Thames, an old cobblestoned area overlooking Tower Bridge right on the river. The views are excellent and all the tables have small blue binoculars so you can study some of the features of Tower Bridge or have a closer look at boats as they sail by. I had a table just in from the window and sat on a nice sofa. A very relaxing environment. Head Chef, Martyn Moody, and his team do make some very good food. I am glad I enjoyed a meal here,

but the portions are a little too French like for my sort of appetite. I gorged on the very delicious fresh assorted fresh breads. Everything tasted fantastic. The service was fun and friendly. The views awesome on a very sunny evening. All in all, a very nice restaurant.

Favorite Dish:

I ordered from the daily Market Menu:

• Ham hock terrine, spiced pineapple, sourdough toast

Lacked a lot of taste, overpowered by the bread

• Herons farm chicken, smoked leeks, potato fondants

Fell off the bone, delicious, small portion

• British cheese selection, Carr’s biscuits (supplement 2.50)

 Perfection
