Wonderful place. Only few rooms; decorated nicely... and with a treat on the pillow :) Aissa (the host) was very helpful already during booking. There's a very personal atmosphere.

Breakfast around a wooden table, so you meet the other guests and can chat and exchange travel tips. Aissa and the other staff made sure you knew your way around town, and made helpful suggestions.

The location is great for the view from the terrace. The disadvantage (and that is the only minor disadvantage I can think of) is that the place is not in walking distance to the city center. We had rented a car, but I believe there was a bus, too.

Though I went there quite a few years ago (2000), South Africa stays in my memory as the country with the best price / quality ratio when it comes to lodging. Plus, frequently, it was very welcoming & personal, too. Prices might have changed, but I am sure the all-around positive experience stays.
