Avoid overpriced and mediocre Apr 14, 2008
Very mediocre and poor value. I booked using their normal tarriff as a guide and expected far better quality especailly for a 'hotel'. Thin bed on castors which skidded about when you sat on it and thin towels. No extractor fan in the bathroom so the tiles were slippery and the shower head was very low so would force a normal sized person to stoop. Very thin walls so you can hear your fellow guets moving about and using the bathroom. I travel extensively on business and was disappointed with the quality even at their specail discount rate, lert alone their full tariff.

We took a fair drive via Taupo and Haka Falls to Napier from National Park Village in glorious weather.
