Green Pool - Disappointed :( Jul 27, 2008
The Blue Tang Inn - was very dissappointing after reading really good reviews on the web.
The 2nd floor ocean view room was blocked by a view of palm trees, the rooms had definately seen their better days, and the pool was green. "Dennis" the owner was more interested in sailing with his buddies, than dealing with the guests, and the pool / hotel.

Just got back after a week at the Blue Tang and Allan and Fanny were fantastic! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and polite. I wish I could write something that sounded more sofisticated and specific but I'll stick with "Trust me it was FANTASTIC!". Now this isn't a resort so remember you're not isolated from the town. I loved this. I thought it was great that we could walk down to all the local resturants and bars. All the local people were friendly and really made you feel welcome to Belize and San Pedro.

Woke up early this morning to more rain and panicked. Luckily, upon waking up later I found the rain had finally stopped. That meant our Hol-Chan snorkeling tour was still one.
