Blue Spruce Prince George Reviews
Convenient campsite Jun 10, 2008
Being my first campsite in years and the first on our epic adventure, I didn't quite know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with Blue Spruce. When you arrive at the campground, there's a small general store where you register. The staff was very friendly. We reserved our site ahead of time which I'm glad we did because we were guaranteed a tent site instead of a more expensive RV site.
The campground doesn't have much privacy but everyone was respectful and there wasn't too much noise. Mostly, the noise came from the nearby highway. The only real downside was the mosquitos. I'm not sure if it was because of the time of year when we visited or if it's like that year round but there did seem to be a lot :(
Showers are free! There's also a pool and playground as well as minigolf for a small fee.
Cost: $20/night for a tent
