I was really surprised by Asheville. How can I describe it?

Tea shops, a bearded hippie looking guy playing a Yangquin beautifully in the street, a newly opened extremely full coffee shop, boutiques and little antique shops, local artists' paintings, a french cafe, a ton of mussels, local designers' clothing wonderful quality and affordable prices.

Cool breeze, chocolate factory, green.

Blue Ridge Parkway we drove 2 or 3 hours into it I think and then turned around back towards Durham but I bought a little pillow full of pine. It smells like christmas tree! We found a crafts shop where local artists display their pottery, artwork, furniture. Asheville has annual furniture fairs. It was beautiful. I've been longing to go back ever since. It's one of those places you should get a time share in and always go.
