on Roosevelt and 58th Ave NE, near the UW campus. There is this quaint little homestyle cookery that is very plain on the outside, eclectic on the inside, full of witty humored posters, vintage well, stuff, and a homestyle feel to it. We ordered for luch, the macaroni and cheese, which has sprinkled gruyere cheese on the top, giving a little more intense cheesiness to the mac, but overall really good and rich. Also, we had the tuna casserole, made with albacore tuna. I dunno how to compare tuna casseroles, but it was very light, but filling as well. And last was the jalepeno chicken burger, which was very moist and tender on a toasted freschetta bun and homemade fries. Very very good, and eclectic ambience. Prices ranged from $9-12 for lunch, which includes 1/2 pound burgers, fish and chips, salisbury steak...and probably a little more for dinner.
