A must while in Jamaica! Apr 14, 2011
Blue Mountain is the highest peak in Jamaica and the view up there is fantastic, you can even see Cuba on a good day.

We brought a local guide with us and drove the humpy road up to a small cabin where we spent the night. We started walking up to the peak at 2 am and saw the sunrise about 4 hours later. It was an amazing view and absolutely worth the hiking trip up there. All the people we met along the way was so friendly as well.

It is a bit cold on the top in the morning, so bring some extra warm clothes.
