The Blue Lagoon is an amazing find. What's really good about this beach is that it is still un-commercialized, althought there are a number of Nipa huts you can stay at for P50.00. There are no stores and facilities, so bring your own food and necessities. There's also water cottages you can rent - so dive all you want in the water.

Blue Lagoon has white sands albeit a bit grainy, but the Blue Lagoon really speaks for itself... the water is so blue! The water is pretty deep but the bottom is pure sand.

If you're staying at Kapuluan Vista Resort (please see my review of the Resort) then you'll be passing by this beach. If you are based in one of the Saud beaches, you may want to skip this because it's out of the way (20-30 mins from Saud).

When we passed by it the first time going to the resort, it was calm, but when we decided to take an afternoon swim the next day, the waves were high and there were a lot of sea grass. It's a nice place to swim on a good day, but also is a good place to learn surfing basics when the waves are kicking in. (nearby Kapuluan offers lessons).

While here, you can trek to nearby Dos Hermanos islands during low tide.

We were here last year, (I have a blog about this beach) we had a "homestay", rented a family house of one local, it was cheap, not bad, we can use their T&B, kitchen, etc. They got 2 rooms one has A/C and the other e-fan. :)
