This is a great place to stay if you are in Kampot for a day or two. A room with 3 beds that my friend and I split (they didn't have any double rooms left) was 6 USD per night with a shared bathroom that was always immaculately clean and bug free (even though it was open air). Other rooms have private bathrooms, but i think i prefered the shared bathrooms as they were huge and constantly cleaned throughout the day.

The owner seemed a bit wacky but his staff are very diligent and take care of your needs (even if they are bogged down with other people while the owner stands there staring into space). There are great clothing lines for airing out your stuff - I was able to get all my soggy laundry from Sihanoukville bone-dry after a couple of hours in the sun and breeze.

There are really neat places to chill out around the guesthouse and the food is really good as well - but keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 9:30 pm (as do all other places in Kampot...but we learned the hard way). Somtimes the restaurant/lounge area is dead quiet and other times it's very busy and great for meeting other packpackers. It's really just chance whether it'll be a late night or not.
