Bleecker Street New York Reviews
A place to party and enjoy yourself. Apr 02, 2010
One of the streets that I really enjoyed on my short visit in New York City was Bleecker Street. The fact that the weather was fantastic during my stay made this street probably even more attractive since all the bars and restaurants had a possibility to open the doors or windows and have the outdoor service up and running.
Bleecker Street is perhaps most famous today as a Greenwich Village nightclub district. Bleecker Street connects Abingdon Square, the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Hudson Street in the West Village, to the Bowery in the East Village.
The street is a spine that connects a neighbourhood today popular for music venues and comedy, but was once a major centre for American bohemia. The street was equally fun to visit during the day, evening and night.
