Blaisdell Arena
Blaisdell Arena Reviews
Rockin' the Arena Oct 18, 2009
When a major concert comes to Honolulu, most of the time it is held at the Blaisdell Arena. It's not a big arena - capacity is 8,800 for a concert. This is nice because you will usually have a good view of the band. The acoustics could be better but overall it isn't bad. On each side of the stage are big video screens where images of the band are displayed.
Parking is adjacent to the arena. As you would expect, it takes a while to get in and out of the parking structure. If you're lucky you may be able to find a parking spot in the street. There aren't many of them so get there early!! There are the usual food items of hot dogs, pizza and other assorted overpriced goodies. Most people go straight to the beer line!! On this occasion I went to the Blaisdell Arena to see Aerosmith. They rocked. Part of the Miscellaneous Oahu Information travel blog
