As soon as we figured out it was too windy to setup camp, I set out across the playa on my bike and found my first art thingy. So I climbed it and even though I couldn't see much due to the dust storm - the overload on my senses was indescribable!
Yup - those are my shoes. My original plan was to burn these shoes when the Man burned, but I got eco-conscious about burning rubber so I still have them. I've worn these shoes on all my adventures over the past year so I wanted to retire them in a special way. (Corny I know) :)
