Bistrot Marguerite Paris Reviews
Bistrot Marguerite - the price is not right! Aug 20, 2009
This Bistro invites you to Paris and their Parisian prices; we had just sat down and ordered two beers when 2 minutes later the waiter came out and presented us for 8,20 euro each beer; we could not do anything else but laugh, it was just too much in a cafe that not even was classy or anything.
The bistro is situated in front of the town hall but also on a very noisy corner; and yes it is very close to Notre Dame; you can actually see the twin towers. France is in general quite expensive in the tourist places compared to the rest of Europe.
While we were there we might as well enjoy it. Sitting there gives you a possibility to enjoy the Paris that appeals to all; a hectic city full of busy but also relaxed people. I was watching Parisian’s getting home from work giving a nerve to the movement in the traffic at the same time smiling tourists like me was just doing nothing.
