Food for people with refined taste and passion Apr 20, 2017
N44°50.414' W0°34.304' A reservation is mandatory for Bistro Réno, just one year in business. In the style of a bistro, the menu is written with chalk on a blackboard. However, unlike a bistro, it offers a lot of choice. Therefore, we needed the help of the waiters to explain the different ingredients during our visit in April 2017.

We decided to order Parmentier de queue de Bœuf au foie gras (€20) and thon anaché with sauce shichimi and purée patate douce (€22) as main courses. The beef tail Parmentier was very creatively presented with a “roof” of potato rösti. It tasted nice with great flavour and texture. No disappointment with the Anchovy tuna, shichimi (seven-colour chili pepper) sauce, sweet potato purée either. An original combination with delicate flavours. Bistro Réno understands high quality French cuisine.

After a plate du fromage (€8), we finished our diner with two excellent desserts: "Gabrieli" Tuile chocolat noir, crème chocolat blanc et citron (€9) and tarte fine aux pommes et sa glace vanille (€7). Lovely.

Bistro Réno offers food for people with refined taste and passion. The service is excellent and the interior of the Bistro is on the same level. Very recommended.

I do rather like the look of this place if I ever get down that way.
