Birchbrae Lodges Fort William Description

Seven luxury self catering Scandinavian style holiday lodges set in a peaceful and secluded woodland clearing eight miles south of Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland. The lodges all have three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The kitchens are fully fitted and the large lounges have comfy furniture and a surround sound home cinema TV system. A DVD and CD library is provided. Outside, you can sit or dine on the verandah. Pets are welcome and one lodge is fully inclusive with ramp access and walk in shower....(see more)

I took a train to fort william. again a 5 pound round trip. this is one of my favorite town in scotland, so far. the train ride was bliss. the view of the highlands was breath taking. i took a cruise down loch linnhe. it was a 8 pound ride for a 1hr…… FORT WILLIAM, UK

"Phew!", I struck lucky.  My first Youth Hostel experience for about a decade, 8 tired men in one enclosed space and NO snoring.  Result.  I think I’m pretty much first up.  Time to explore the facilities.  Communal shower…… The Isle of Skye : a day with my friend Jean.
