Billund Vacation Guide
Billund is a danish municipality wth a population of just a bit more then 26.000 people. It's located in the south of the Jutland Peninsula close to the danish / german boarder between Vejle and Esbjerg.
Billund is mainly an industrial area with the Airport and the Lego company as the two main employers. From a tourist perspective the Lego company houses their world reknown theme park Legoland in Billund. The entire theme park that takes you around diffrent towns is entirely build in Lego bricks.
For trotting fans Billund also houses one of the best trotting tracks in the country.
Just a side note, although the airport was built by Lego, it is not actually built from Lego...
