On the Fish Market in Brussels you can find a lot of restaurant but one of the better ones are the "Bij den Boer " which is a specialized fish restaurant. The fish market is located in the very heart of Brussels, on the « Vismet » not far from the place Sainte Catherine.
The restaurant is almost always full both for lunch and diner - and for good reason - the food here is just great. It is a classical old fashion restaurant with a lot of atmosphere. The tabels and chairs are old and gives a lot of cosyness to the place. The service is swift and friendly. I had the most wonderful "entre" consisting of fresh asparagus and some chopped eggs, followed by cod. I will be back.
