Big Buffalo Steakhouse Reviews

Not that desperate again.... Mar 08, 2008
Arrived here hungry as wolfs from our day out at the winterpark. I phoned my Uncle Knut who lives in Hamar to ask him of any places to eat. This was not one of them LOL

My first impression was good and we did wonder if we could eat there dressed like mountain people:) I asked if there was a dress code and he just looked at me like he was deaf or something and just showed us to our table. Ok fair enough no dress code here:) The table and benches were a step up and to my surprise it was just on the edge of the floor leaving at least 40 cm of open air between the wall and us. Seemed odd to me but i guess every place has its own style:)

We got the menue and there were hardly anything to choose between. 2 dishes for fish, 3 dishes of meat and 3 disshes of finger food. So we ordered 2 Fajitas and 1 basket of buffalo. The buffalo basket was filled with union rings, buffalo wings and some other stuff. We also ordered 3 drinks (2 Coca Cola's and 1 7up) All this came to 634 Norwegian kr. I thought that was expencive for what they had to offer and for the service they had to give us. I can tell you right now i'm not going back there again.

The interior was decorated with dark wood and nice photos on the wall from Mexico so that was nice but i gotta say i had to push my bench and table closer to the wall LOL

The kick ass food and service are at PUnjab TAndoori and The Thai take away (also a resturant at a different location from my review.) These two places you would have loved and the prices are not bad at all. Espcially the Punjab place :)
