We hiked for a few hours through a small portion of the park and saw phenomenal redwoods. I would recommend the ranger tour. It took about an hour and covered some of the park's history and much of its flora. The ranger showed us what is thought to be the tallest tree in their forest and another tree with its entire core burnt, though it's still alive. You can walk into it and look all the way up it at the sky. I highly recommend this park for those who want to see huge trees, though I don't know yet how it compares with Yosemite.

I've always wanted to see this place; my parents, brother, and sister-in-law have gone, and they loved it too!
