This wonderful tour gives you the rare opportunity to observe Fairy Penguins in their natural habitat. Every evening, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, at dusk, the tour departs from Bicheno. The locals in the area established this tour to protect the penguin population. You sit quietly on the beach, near the penguin rookeries and watch to penguins toddle up the beach from the ocean into their homes, without disturbing their nightly journey. A truly exceptional tour, I highly recommend it when you come to Tasmania.
