Bhanwar Niwas Hotel Bikaner

We stayed here two nights.
You will find this haveli in the middle of the old town of Bikaner.

This Haveli was commissioned by the late Seth Bhanwarlalji Rampuria in 1927, the architecture of the haveli is an combination of Indian and European styles. The hotel is now a heritage hotel.

The hotel is difficult to reach through the narrow streets of Bikaner. After a wild ride by the chaotic traffic it will takes you to an oasis of tranquility in this beautiful hotel.

We were very surprised to get a very large room (I really mean a very spacious room, the room occupate three rooms and a bathroom). Please look at the picture and see for yourself.

The rooms are well air-conditioned, clean, decorated with hand-painted wallpaper. All very authentic and atmospheric. Rooms are large, cozy and comfortable.You feel as a very wealthy person.The spacious rooms are often a lack out of hot water.

Operation in the restaurant is excellent.Here you get only vegetarian dishes. The choice at breakfast is poor.

The staff is friendly, pleasant and give good service.

The location is perfect if you want to stay in the middle of the old town.

At the entrance you will find a nice old car (oldtimer, sorry cann't remember the name of the car). The courtyard is spacious. In the afternoon you will get typical Rajasthan/Indian music.

If you have time go to the rooftop to enjoy the view over Bikaner old city.

Yes, I would come back to this hotel. It is very peacefull and you have pleasant stay here.
