Hi Guys
Just a general tip about the Beautiful 'Barcelona' when walking through the famous 'La ramblas' be careful not to get pickpocketed. This area is rife for tourists from all destinations having there money, passports and valubles Pickpocketed! Its big business here. Also be careful at hotels and other tourist attractions throughout Barcelona and costa brava in summer time when the pickpockets cast a wider net from the 'La Ramblas' - I almost lost my passport!!

However, travellers should also beware that in museums ( Madrid has many) pickpockets can be crafty as well, preying on distracted tourists.

Beware that sizes are different in Spain.. I usually wear size Medium or small but in Barcelona I needed extra small.. and guess what, they dont have much extra small.. Mostly big sizes. For shoes, its the same thing but I needed… for everything else, there is master card! |

You can find many restaurants in Barceloneta but beware many tourist traps!! A trick, eat late just like the population here (around 10pm) and see where the locals go eat this way you are sure to eat a great meal. If the locals dont go there... You shouldnt either!!

Beware while crossing the bridge near the Magic Fountain. We hopped on the Metro and made our way to Park Guell, the park that was designed by Gaudi. This park is full of amazing architecture; it was like being in a fantasy world… Final destination |
