Betws-y-coed Vacation Guide
Betws-y-Coed is the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park. Covering more than 800 square miles, the park is a region of haunting beauty and grandeur, of wild rocky mountains, hidden valleys, cascading rivers, still glacial lakes and deep forests.
It is one of the most beautiful places in Wales and boasts lots of little cafes, shops and adventurous activities to try out. Perfect for the thrill seeker or the relaxation craver!

Back in Wales recently visiting my old university town & friends. Aside from Bangor, Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis & Snowdonia were also visited. Despite the typical Welsh summer(ie. wet)I made a hike up Mount Snowdon via Pyg Track & down via Miners'Path.
