Betws-y-coed North Wales Dec 12, 2017
Betwsycoed is the gateway to Snowdonia in North Wales UK, set in the Snowdonia national Park. It is North Wales prettiest village. It is in a woodland setting by the river Llugwy in the Conwy valley. The river flows over huge rocks in the river bed. The area is ideal for walkers. Plenty of craft shops and cafes, a fish and chips cafe is near the Pont y Pair bridge. The Pont y Pair bridge was built in 1468, and is built on the rocks. St Marys church on the main road was built in 1873, many stained glass windows. ---- Easy access to Betwsycoed by road. While i was there 5 tour buses arrived from 2 coach companies. Buses run regularly from Llandudno. Trains run from Llandudno not very freqent.also to Blaenau Festiniog.------It is easier to call the place Betsy coed.----Llandudno is 25 miles and Conwy 17 miles away.
