Best Western Tacoma Dome Hotel

Only stayed for a night here, but it's got a great location. It's RIGHT by the Tacoma Dome, and it's by Delin Docks. If you're a diver and want to stay somewhere close by Bandito Charters, this is a great place to try too.

It's a minute off the freeway, and if you get a room on the north face of the building, you'll have a nice, pretty view of the water, bridge, and city lights on the horizon.

The winter rates (11/2009) were $71 for a night with a AAA card. They have parking garages, which they give you a permit for duration of your stay. USE THEM if you'd like to see your vehicle the next day! They also give you vouchers for a HOT complimentary breakfast in the mornings. I'm not sure if it changes, but when I was there, they had scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, green peppers, and onions, and sausage links. There's an endless supply of coffee, and the orange juice is fantastic. The orange juice is SWEET though. But it tastes pretty darn good! So if you don't want your kids wired on sugar, steer them clear of the orange jucie dispenser.

The rooms themselves have a clean appearance and come with a little couch as well. Again, not sure if that's a standard thing, but it was nice, nonetheless.

Less expensive, more for your money. Nice rooms, sheltered parking, quiet when we've been there. If the Dome has a concert or other event, rooms may be scarce & parking may be hard to find if you leave.read entire review at TravelPost.com
