 Great Location..fairly clean Apr 11, 2009
Great Location in Vancouver in English Bay. Right on Davie by Denman. Nice friendly staff. Only thing that got me was that Parking was extra and that it wasn't mentioned on the websites. Bed was okay..I'd bring my own pillows though. Sheets were a little sandpapery but overall clean. Sketchy elevator, so take the stairs. Expensive but cheap compared to the rest of Vancouver..I read a review about bedbugs here, but luckily didn't find any! On a busy street so quite noisy, but earplugs were provided.

The Best Western ‘Sands by the Sea’ is on a quiet location, the sea is just down the road and around the corner are good restaurants. Stanley Park is not far away, you can easily walk there.
Our room is very comfortable, with a big screen TV and a big comfy bed. The bathroom is clean and well stocked. Breakfast is not included in the deal but it’s a good idea to eat here, it was a good deal for your money. There is a sports bar with TV screens for catching a game or just having a drink in the evening. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Part of the Canada 2006 travel blog
