Best Western Premier Academy Plaza Hotel Dublin Reviews
A very relaxing hotel May 08, 2009
We booked this hotel via bookings.com and we got a very good deal!
Walking in to the hotel and seeing the marble entrance made us wonder if we were at the right hotel; the lobby is decorated with black and with marble, nice chairs and free internet pc's. The hotel also has free wifi. Although we were there well before check in time, we got our room keys. The room isn't very spacious, although a large deal has to do with the king size bed in it. Yes, king size, for a standard room! It had nice pillows, and 2 extra in the closet, the matrasses were fine; one thing: the bed spread was a bit small, just made to fit... The badroom was in pinkish and black, with a thermostate shower, sink and toilet. Very standard, but nice; and the towels, o my, so soft! Besides the bed the room had a chair in funky leopard print, desk/make up table, with leopard chair, and a wardrobe with safe. It also offered pay per view/interactive tv...didn't check that out, because who wants to watch tv in a city like Dublin? Breakfast is not included; we took it anyway...they serve a nice full Irish breakfast, with baked beans, eggs, sausages etc. Besides that you'll have your choice of bread, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruits. In the hotel are 2 restaurants: Harry's bar and Bistro and Abacus; both very worth the money! The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull: I wanted a massage but it was fully booked; well, they went the extra mile and I got my massage. Part of the Dublins fair city travel blog |
