Best Western Hotel Spaander Volendam

I don't know exactly which year I went here but it must be around 1998. I've stayed here for 2 nights with a girlfriend of mine for a weekend.
We had a lovely time in this famous hotel near the harbour of the touristic place of Volendam!
All the 83 rooms have a typical Volendam feeling and a unique view over the IJsselmeer. The staff is dressed in local costumes and they are very friendly. There is a good à la carte restaurant and a cosy pub. In the basement there is a swimmingpool, sauna, solarium, Turkish bath and a gymnasium.

Volendam is not a large village but there is so much to do. You can make pictures in typical Volendams local costumes, Go on a boattrip to the historical island of "Marken" and walk around the beautiful island with historical houses etc.
Walk along the harbour of Volendam with it's great fishrestaurants and cute pubs and other shops. There are also museums and you're just half an hour away by bus from the Capital city of the Netherlands "Amsterdam" so lots of great things to do around here!!
Try it, you'l won't be dissapointed!!
