Best Western Hotel Convention Center Long Beach
Best Western Hotel Convention Center Long Beach Reviews
Nov 06, 2007
There is one thing to say about commercial chain hotels, you always know what you are going to get. There is comfort in that consistency. Chances are if you are going for a Best Western, you aren't looking for luxary. You are looking for a place that is affordable and not shady.
The room was clean and roomy. It had all the basics: TV and Cable, Air Conditioning, Alarm Clock, Chairs, Closet, Dresser, Phone, a nice shower and bathroom. One extra that I enjoyed was the free Internet. They have wifi and ethernet for free. You have to pay a daily fee for parking though. There is also a free breakfast. They have a waffle maker, which totally beats bagels and cereal. The location isn't on the beach, but its close to the Convention Center if thats where you are going. It is possible to walk to the beach, but it involves a bit of a hike. There aren't many attractions within walking distance, so you might need a car to get where you want to go. Quiznos is right next door. There is also a VERY good steak house a block away. There are a number of local eats as well. I don't really have anything bad to say about this hotel. I gave it 3 stars and $ because its your average Best Western. |
