Best Western Embajadores Hotel Miraflores

The Embajadores hotel in Lima is very nice, most definitely in the top two of hotels we stayed at in Peru. The location is great because it's not right on the street but it is in the Miraflores neighborhood, the upscale part of Lima, so you feel safe. It's also pretty near the beach, a few blocks away (definitely go with a friend, crossing the street is scary!). And it's near Larcomar, an outdoor mall with restaurants and arcades. Also, it's about eight blocks away from this great 24-hour grocery store called Vivanda. cheap and amazing groceries! As for the hotel itself, it was super clean, had a nice television in each room, and had a fridge stocked with goodies (at a price, of course :) The restaurant in the hotel is also really good, and they give you a good portion of food. I would definitely recommend it. Only one word of advice: don't stay here if you have to leave to the airport in a rush the next morning, or just plan way ahead rather, traffic is bad and it's not too close to the airport.
