Best Western Central Hotel Tours Reviews
Great location Feb 16, 2014
I had never stayed in Tours before and I did primarily choose this hotel for its location and I was not wrong in that. The hotel is only a short walk (300 m) from the beginning of the city’s main walking street where you can find many restaurants and cafes. It is also a street where you can have a good time in of bars until after midnight. Just beware that you are in southern Europe in that sense that hardly any of the restaurants opens before 7 pm.
The hotel is not hard to find if you arrive by car and it has a fairly large parking area in front of the hotel. The service was friendly and nice, and there was no issue in finding the reservation. The room I got was fair in size and really colorful, it was quite a surprise judging be there outer appearance. If the room was small then I got a huge bathroom, it was almost the same size as my room. The bathroom reminded me of one in an old hospital or something from a sanatoria or an official place, not that I had any complaint about but it must have been the white and brown tiles that gave me that picture in my mind.
The hotel was not refurbished for some time, as the furniture was getting a bit old and used. The same is to be said about the rest of the hotel without it would make me consider another place to stay. The Wi-Fi worked well during my stay and I really think it was a good hotel given the price. It was quiet and really close to many of the cities attractions and the river where hours can be spent just walking and enjoying the views.
