a pleasant stay Jan 04, 2012
We didn't have reservation so again, this is a walk-in. We were able to book a room and were allowed to check in early. The hotel interior has a nice and country feel design. The staff that checked us in is very friendly.
We stayed in a 2-queen bed room that has good ventilation. It is clean and spacious. It is furnished with TV set, desk, arm chair, stand lamp shade, drawers, telephone, alarm clock, and a coffee maker with coffee bags next to it. The beds are complete with fluffy pillows and comforters. The heater was already on when we got inside the room and the temperature was set just right.
The bathroom/toilet is clean also. There are enough supplies of toiletries, fluffy and clean white bath & face towels, tissue papers, toilet papers, hair dryer and cups.
Right next to the fire place in the hotel lobby, there is a small room with computers, chairs, and printers – available to use for free. Free in-room WI-FI is also available and there is no need for password.
A free breakfast is included in the hotel rate. The breakfast consists of hot scrambled eggs, sausages, bacons and hams. There are choices of oatmeal, cereals, bagels, breads, and waffles. Some fruits like apples are also available. Breakfast time is from 6 am to 9 am.
There is an outdoor pool but it’s only open during summer time.
The hotel is located in just a few meters to the entrance gate of Bryce Canyon National Park.
A nearby restaurant which is a concessioner of Best Western Hotel is just across the street, that’s where we ate dinner. There is a general merchandise store next to the restaurant if you feel like looking for souvenirs. The quaint stores surrounding the strip to the National Park are closed during winter season.
I mentioned that the room has good supply of lighting through a huge window. However, this was a pain to me especially at bedtime because the windows didn’t have heavy coverings –the ones you can pull together when you need it dark. This is the only complain I had...other than that, it was a pleasant stay!

Neat Hotel in Bryce Canyon City Apr 23, 2011
This hotel is located in Bryce Canyon City, UT, right across the street from a huge general store, the other Best Western (Rudy’s) and some restaurants. It's an ideal location to stay overnight on a trip to Bryce Canyon. It’s very convenient if you want to be in the park at night (think astronomy/stargazing) or early morning (think sunrise over hoodoos).
I was very pleased with the condition of the hotel and the room, it's clearly newer than most of other options in the area. I liked the bathroom a lot, nice shower really. In general, the equipment in the room was both functional and up-to-date.
I was less pleased with the donation that's automatically added to your bill. Upon inquiry, however, you could get it removed and I had a prepaid deal anyway. As a matter of principle, I just don’t think it’s good business to casually donate the money of your customers. In general, the service was fairly average; not great but nothing to complain.
Breakfast was included in my rate and pretty good too... I would recommend arriving early to beat the rush. It is to be noted that the hotel wisely added another room for the breakfast overflow.
Ideal location, modern comfort, nice breakfast... in conclusion, I recommend this hotel for travelers to Bryce Canyon NP.
