A great location on the beach Mar 21, 2008

This hotel is RIGHT on the beach, walk out your room and there's the sand! We've stayed twice and opted for the parking lot side to get a better room rate both times and it was just fine. This hotel is easy to get to, right off the Highway 1, the offramp goes right to the entrance to the parking lot. We had a pleasant experience both times and would stay again. The only negative about this hotel from a tourist point of view is it's quite far from the sites: Cannery Row, the Aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf. But if you aren't there as a tourist, which we weren't, it's a good location.

We arrived a bit early for check in so we had to sit in the lobby at the Best Western Beach Resort, which was beautiful because it has chairs and large windows where you can just sit and admire the gorgeous view of the ocean. After a brief walk on the beach we are now eagerly, anxiously awaiting room service....more to come… Hello Room Service!
