It really is the "Best Tuk Tuk Tour" Nov 30, 2014
Who wouldnt want a Tuk Tuk for the day. All the Tuk Tuk and no haggling. You choose where you want to go and Paul will drive you there. Speaks good English, he's dual citizen US/Thai. He knows about the area and the attractions. Born and raised in Chiang Mai. Meets you at the hotel in the morning, prices are all ready settled and it includes breakfast and lunch. He's happy just to wander along with you through the markets pointing out things and explaining things. It was a great time! I have already recommended him to people I met heading to Chiang Mai. It is a bit funny watching him get asked if he needs a tuk tuk ride in the market. Well worth the price! And no crazy haggling or going to tshirt and gem stores, unless you want to see them.

Personal tour with Paul Jul 14, 2012
If you book with Paul Collins, you can let him know what you want to see, so he will put together a personal tour for you by tuk tuk. We wanted to see the the Tiger Kingdom and Doi Suthep.

We were picked up at our guesthouse and drove somewhere to have lunch. He made sure we could try some Northern Thai dishes. (Included in the price.)

There we took a red songthaew to go up the mountain to Doi Suthep. On our way we had a set back cause university students were having a trip up the mountain so it was too busy. After almost one hour we decided to get back down and Paul garantied us he would go up with us another day.

Tiger Kingdom was half an hour drove from Chiang Mai centre. He explained everything there and waited for us until we were finished.

He brought us back to our accomodation.

Two days later he came to pick us up again to go to Doi Suthep.

He took us back for free, I agreed to pay the trip by red songthaew, what made the tour more expensive for me… a bit of a pity.

Paul is a good guide. He explained everything very well. And we had a nice chat as well. He is not pusy at all and very kind! A very nice person! I highly recommend!
