Countries I've Traveled To
Languages Spoken
Only English unfortunately as there are lots that I would like to learn. Trying to learn Spanish. Failed attempt at Afrikaans.
Books you might find in my backpack
Music you might find me listening to while waiting for my plane
Most Memorable Travel Experience
+ Myanmar, I just love the country
+ Antartica cruise with 18 others from TB
+ Mongolia Eagle Festival then to Tibet
+ Greenland, such a unique place
+ South African game parks, canoeing down the Zambezi river.
+ China: Beijing, Huangshan, Dunhuang, Chengdu.
+ Cabo San Lucas, the start of my home exchanges.
+ Banff - Jasper, the scenery is magnificent
+ Anywhere in SE Asia,
- Being Shanghaied in Shanghai, you just have to watch those coffee shops
Lots of travel planned as I am now retired.
Love the outdoors, nature and wildlife and seeing new countries.
Not so keen to see buildings and museums.
Love the summers and I don't like winters.
I prefer to stay in basic accommodation.
SE Asia is where I hope to spend a lot of time in the future.

Brian - long after we left China, you're still enjoying it there.

Maybe we should start planning for the Stans or the trans-Siberian next summer.
