Great place to spot Wildlife! Mar 19, 2008
Berry head is a nature reserve in brixham and also the sight of two historic Napoleonic forts. The forts themslves are in average condition but there isnt alot too see for anyone interested in History.

However,Berry head is a fantastic place for brilliant views of torbay and briliiant picture oportunities. There are many chances to walk around the coast to some little coves such as St Marys Bay.

Berry head is also a great place for wildlife, there is a wildlife information kiosk on berry head that list when certain wildlife has been spotted and what to look out for.Birds,Butterflies and some rare flowers are your best chance for wildlife. However, snakes, dolphins and sharks can be spotted on some daytimes. And at night if you take a torch badgers and foxes are also possible.

There is also a little cafe that is open in the summer season only which can be nice for a devon cream tea.
airial view of berry head!
