Bern Switzerland Feb 07, 2017
Bern is the federal capital and seat of the Swiss Goverment. Bern is ideal to use has a centre for trips out. Bern has plenty to see,-The clock tower dates from the 15th century is on Kram Gasse.-The Bear Park down by the river,is improved.Old Town down by the river, - The Bundeshaus built 1852-1902 is the goverment building, there are public visits. The building is in Bundes Platz.-The Rat haus [town hall] is on the corner of Rathaus Gasse and Post Gasse.- The Cathedral was started in 1421 in gothic style.the tower was completed 1893.The main streets are covered arched walkways,so the shops and cafes are under cover , great when it rains. In Bern a feature is the historic foutains in the middle of the roads.-in Kramgasse is the house that Einstein lived from 1903 to 1905.- A trip out i did was by train to Lauterbrunnen and Lucerne- I stayed in the hotel in the village of Niederscherli 17 minutes from Bern stationby train.
