The Perfumery at Stewart Hall Sep 08, 2010
The Bermuda Perfumery is located at Stewart Hall in the Town of St. George. There are free tours of the buildings, gardens, and factory. (The fragrances are made from local flowers.)

Stewart Hall is one of St. George's oldest houses and much of the orignal woodwork remains inside. I was interested to see the interior of the house. The beautiful Bermuda Cedar beam ceilings are visible and well maintained. They look like the hull of a sailing ship--probably owing to St. Geroge's seafaring past.

The inside of the house is used for displays and the shop. Susan found nice perfume sampler sets here to take back as gifts.
