Bermuda Bus Service Hamilton Reviews
Riding the Pink Bermda Breeze Buses Sep 09, 2010
Getting around Bermuda is very easy by way of the pink transit buses operated by the Public Transportation Board. Bermuda Breeze buses operate on 11 routes reaching all points of the islands. All bus lines depart from the central Hamilton Bus Terminal. Bus stops along the routes are either stone shelters or marked by pink or blue poles. (Pink poles mean the bus is traveling towards Hamilton. Blue poles mean the bus is traveling away from Hamilton.)
Bus drivers will stop to let you off at a beach or attraction along the way. Just tell the driver to let you off at the Crystal Caves or at Verdmont, for example. But, be sure to follow Bermuda custom and wish the driver a
"Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon" when you board!
Cash fares range from $3.00 to $4.50 depending on zones traveled. Visitors may purchase one to seven day passes that are valid on both the bus and the ferry systems. (Passes are the way to go for exploring all over Bermuda.)
The web site has route maps and schedules.
