A fabulous beer party Aug 02, 2013
The clue of the weekend was the Berlin International Beer Festival also known as the Beer-mile due to the length of the numerous stands. There are in all more than 300 different breweries represented on the festival. It is a festival that runs the entire weekend from Friday noon to midnight Sunday the first weekend of August or last weekend of July.

The festival is located along the Karl Marx Alle’ and it is quite amazing to see all the stands from where the beer flows. I was the first time any of us visited the festival and we quickly found out that the best way to approach the beer tasting was to buy one of the festival beer glasses for 4 euro and then you can have it filled at any beer stall for 1,5 – 2 euro depending on which beers you prefer.

Besides the beers there are numerous stalls with food and especially the German sausages are sold many places. There are many stages from where all kind of music is played during all the festival. There are so much beer that it is totally impossible to taste all beers.
