Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Beach Resort And Casino Victoria (Seychelles)

I had the pleasure of taking a little side trip here when I was in the military. After getting to the hotel from the airport, taking this winding road through the town and up into the jungle, this beautiful resort sprang out of nowhere. Some good, the rooms where great, well furnished and up to date. The shower was small but enough room to relax. There were double doors and a varanda area to kick back and watch the people and wild life. I had a TV and cable but what I was interested in was the scenery. Outside my door within 10 meters was the beginning of the jungle. I could see all this life around all within a short walk. I climbed a coconut tree, brought it back to the pool and peeled it and drank the liquid. Life was good that day.

The next morning I got up early ate at the open air dining area, eggs and pancakes juice, very good made to order food. I thought my asking for grits would be returned with a no but I was given a heaping bowl with honey. All billed to the room, it came out to about 10$ US so not a budget breaker. Next after a walk up the beach to digest I hit the cool 85 F degree water and floated out to the marker buoy and contemplated the rest of my day.
The only bad thing I can say is that I could not exchange the money I won at the casino for the equivalent in US denominations thought this was odd but not a big deal, I just had lots of travel gifts when I got home.

Very nice place to stay, definite recommend.
