Here you can find some very good Bavarian/German food. The restaurant and hotel are a family owned and has been run by this family for a very long time. My grandma, aunt and my mum used to work here. The rooms are limited so you might have to check in advance. Over all this place is used by bus tours to make a memorable snack while heading for some other unknown destination. Locals often use it to host weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We've had many family events hosted here and were always more then happy with the outcome. Besides after having a delicious meal you can take a hike on one of the trails that lead all around the surrounding area. So if you drive through Aschbach (yes, the restaurant was named after the town that it is in) stop in even if it is only for a cup of coffee and for a delectable piece of homemade German pie!
