Wonderful modern art Dec 03, 2010
With free entrance and very generous opening hours, I'm surprised that this museum is not visited more often.

Located in the Belem area of Lisbon, the museum spans across three floors and contains a comprehensive variety of modern art. I particularly liked the paintings from the twentieth century, as well as this giant sculpture of a tree trunk which was made out of thick rope.

They also have some strange but cool videos too. There was one with a guy just walking through the Moroccan desert; there just didn't seem to be any obvious message to it! In another film entitled funeral party, this guy was just getting approached by a wide variety of other people and just getting kissed. Strange indeed!

Much to my amazement, I thought this museum was very cool and well worth the visit.
