Ok.. so we arrived back to beautiful, sunny ALASKA.. The snow was melted.. The sun was shining.. Then.. at 10 am... everything changed.. The clouds rolled in and the snow started to fall.. Ok.. OK.. not completely rare.. we usually get one last snow…… 24" of snow on APRIL 26th! |

The three of us drove over to the Anchorage airport to try and charter a sailplane flight. First it sounded like we wouldn't be able to go because our combined weight was too much, but in the end, the ceiling was too low to take off that day.&…… Eklutna Lake |

This was the clearest day of our trip. It was so clear that you could see Mount McKinley from Anchorage. We had already decided to grab some picnic food to have lunch in the Chugach Mountains, but we were surprised to see how many people…… Chugach |
